Woven wood shades and wood blinds are both beautiful options to bring some natural naterials into your space, but which one is right for you? Personal preference aside, you want the window treatment that will provide all the functionality you need while making your windows look outstanding. Provenance® Woven Wood Shades from Hunter Douglas are handcrafted using 100% natural grasses, woods, reeds, and bamboo to create a woven shade that brings the inherent variations of the organic materials to life. Woven wood shades are available in a range of textures from chunky to refined which makes these shades a practical option for any room in your home.
Parkland® Wood Blinds instantly enhance the sophistication of a room with the rich color and texture of hardwood. Wood window blinds are a timeless classic but are not suited to every area in a home. Hardwood does not hold up under exposure to humidity, moisture, or UV exposure and so isn’t the ideal choice for bathrooms, basements, or kitchens.
Woven window shades create a natural, welcoming vibe that is an ideal grounding element to Boho or other eclectic styles of decor. The woven material filters sunlight beautifully and provides exceptional light control. Unlike other window shades, woven shades can be fully lowered and still allow some natural light into the room.
